Foam (AFFF) fire extinguishers are one of the most commonly utilised fire extinguishers in the U.K. as they offer protection against both Class A and B fire risks and are frequently found in offices, warehouses, retails premises and industrial units.
The Fire Industry Association (FIA) has published a Foam Extinguisher restrictions briefing document in March 2022. The document outlines the current restrictions on foam in the U.K. and highlights two restrictions that are already in place.
