A 9kg Monnex Powder Fire Extinguisher designed to tackle high risk class B and C fires.  The Monnex Powder Fire Extinguisher is supplied in a 9kg body that is filled with 8kg of Monnex powder and offers a 5-year warranty.

Monnex powder fire extinguishers are ideal for use in high-risk areas such as airports, heliports and fuel depots or anywhere where the fast knockdown of fires is required.  Designed to tackle class B fires involving flammable liquids such as hydrocarbon oils, gasoline, diesel and liquefied natural gas and it is also ideal to tackle chemicals such as alcohol, ketones, ethers and esters, which standard ABC powder extinguishers would not safely extinguish.  Monnex powder extinguishers are not suitable for class A (paper, wood, textiles) fire risks.

Monnex powder fire extinguishers work by breaking into small particles when the powder comes into contact with intense heat.  The particles cover a much larger area than conventional powder extinguishers making them ideal for high risk applications such.
